Thanks.

Thanks for taking the effort transporting Mom back and forth. I understand how exhausting it is. But isn’t it cool that you get to jump the line at TSA?
I don't mind being the PM for the move. I just want to point out that both Scott and Lee have similar PM experience and could easily handle this piece.
I think we should ask Mom who she wants on the local checking account with her. She should still make such decisions for herself.
As for other banking, the only thing I can think of that she goes into a branch for is any CDs she has, which we will need to find out if she can do this remotely if she has any CDs that will mature after she moves.

    Just my two cents - hoping Eric is NOT on any bank accounts. We have 3 kids going to college and are ever-hopeful we will qualify for Financial Aid. If Eric is a co, it might like look we have more assets than we do.

      I'm fine with being on the acount. I don't expect this to be a big deal in the near future.

      But, keeping in mind Hillary's comment, we should ask Mom. Maybe she doesn't trust me and keep her engaged.

    BTW, I never never never worked as PM. Throughout my career I strongly resisted such assignments. I even went out of my way to hire great PMs to work for me so I would never have to do it.
    Even now, whenever I consult, I make it clear that I can do many things, but PM (and operational support) I do not do.

    I will not do it for a dime
    I will not PM it hurts my head

    Scott - the fact that you put together this verse proves you have too much time on your hand. Maybe this would be a great challenge to take on.

    Besides, I've seen your organizational skills, logistics and planning abilities and that is a large part of project management.
