On the buy side, I think it's in Mom's best interest to sign at the last minute, although I'll call Larissa today and check on that. I'll also ask he if there are any outstanding issues she has relating to the contract. And I would vote to accept Lee's gracious offer to be the guarantor.
On the Title 42 (low income housing) stuff, I'll call Joanne today and see where she stands. I emailed her most of the information she needs last week, and got an envelop of statements from Mom this morning which I need to sort through.

Since Mom has to sign the lease, it is not going to be until the day she moves in (I guess that is the last minute). That is one reason Larissa requested Mom show up at a reasonable hour. I am happy to be the guarantor and it makes sense since I will be joint on her checking account.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the $$$ stuff - can I ask that we gather all the information about rent, extra care, potential discounts, long term care insurance, VA benefits, etc.? Maybe this is clear to others but I am in the dark.
