I spoke with Barry Lind, the lawyer, this morning. All seems fine. He flagged two things which I caught, namely that all the furniture was listed as being included and that the closing date was 8/13. He told Barbara the Agent to go back and say Mom will itemize the furniture to be left shortly, and suggested the closing date be moved back to 8/31. He & I discussed a couple of technical issues I had, and it looks like I'm being paranoid. So the contract is moving apace.
In the meantime, Shelley's busy trying to get the physical exam (or whatever it's called) scheduled for this week. Once this happens, we'll have a better idea on an achievable schedule. --
Remember ... life is what happens while you're busy making other plans.
